Robert Half is looking to add a full-time Bookkeeper to their growing fleet of internal accounting professionals. This is not a contract / temporary role, but an internal permanent position working for Robert Half near Warrenville. Candidate will need to be self-driven and organized, as well as comfortable working under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate must possess attention to detail and solid communication abilities. Candidates must have 2-4 year’s previous experience as a bookkeeper in multiple industries. Candidate must be available to commute up to 35 miles from home; but periodic assignments may be hybrid or remote from time to time. Apply today for this great career opportunity!

Typical duties include:

- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

- Performing banking and reconciliations

- Payroll experience (a plus)

- Maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts and preparation of journal entries

- Experience with QuickBooks preferred

2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper, Solid understanding of QuickBooks or similar accounting software, Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank reconciliations experience, Proven knowledge of journal entries, Microsoft Excel experience required
