Job Description
Sr. Managers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the US (HQ: Chicago, IL). Manage software technology team, including in DevOps environment, release engineering and software engineering. Lead, motivate and enable team members to reach career success and goals. Operate, design, deploy and maintain business-critical highly scalable distributed software systems and applications, production monitoring, address failures, manage upgrades, patching schedules, downtime, implement corrections. Lead project management including Agile management frameworks in fast-paced dynamic environment. Lead team to use procedures, scripts, database queries to resolve application issues in a variety of open system infrastructures and for highly scalable distributed software systems. Create roadmaps. Oversee systems automation, virtualization, orchestration, deployment, and implementation. Lead team in performance tuning, debugging, platform integrations. Define and execute on vision, strategy and roadmaps for SRE and DevOps teams. Play a strategic role in building state-of-the-art application/infrastructure systems with the high emphasis on security and scalability. Maximize system availability and assist users with application questions and issues. Drive and own the measuring of SLA/uptime and ensure organization is meeting goals. Ensure timely releases of the team's projects to production and remove any impediments as they arise.
