Child Care Infant/Toddler Teacher - IL Medical District

As a Child Care Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will:
Create and lead activities based on your observations of the children's interests and needs.
Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child's day.
Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
At least 19 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
1) 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited college or university with six semester or nine quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age six; OR
2) 1 year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center and 30 semester hours (or 45 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited college or university with 6 semester or 9 quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age 6; OR
3) Completion of credential programs approved by the Department in accordance with Appendix G of this Part. (CDA)
