Our client, a growing manufacturing company, in Harvey is seeking a Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for processing quotations, sales orders, shipments, and coordinating with the department Business Manager and other departments to resolve problems. Requires excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities:

+ Communicate effectively and respectfully with customers and co-workers by phone and email.

+ Work closely with Heat Transfer Fluid Business Manager to complete the following:

+ Accurately log, process and track customer requests for quotes and customer orders

+ Respond to customer inquiries for price and delivery by accepting, qualifying, and processing requests.

+ Manage and keep track of pending orders and quotes, incoming and requested samples.

+ Attend to, organize, and prioritize orders based on production schedules.

+ Gather required order information from customers (material, amounts, packaging, shipping address, billing information, etc.)

+ Update customers of their order status, especially in rush or changing circumstances

+ Keep records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken

+ Assure order details and outcomes meet customer expectations, examples:

+ Shipping preference (carrier, service levels, special instructions)

+ Customization of labels, delivery, or other miscellaneous requests

+ Assemble and ship Radco Industry Sample Kit’s to customers through UPS world ship.
