Farnsworth Group is seeking a Telecommunications Project Manager in our Lisle, IL office. Qualified candidates will work with our Energy & Utility Group as a part of the Telecommunications Team in the planning, drafting, design, permitting and construction administration of telecommunications and utility projects.
Job Activities:
+ Complete design and posting of telecommunications projects
+ Review projects for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications
+ Plan and oversee work production to meet project deadlines and budgets
+ Oversee ARAMIS work completed by technical and professional production staff
+ Provide direction and support for permit plans and work prints drafted in AutoCAD, Microstation, Bluebeam, etc.
+ Provide office support for site visits and participate in site visits which may include overnight travel
Specific Requirements:
+ Minimum of 4 years of OSP design experience
+ Experience in Legal Mandate, IFP, Fiber Overbuild, FTTH, or LightGIG projects
+ Positive work ethic and excellent communication skills
+ Ability to effectively manage time while working on several projects concurrently
Desired Skills:
+ Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering or related field
+ Proficient in ARAMIS and capable of training others
+ Supervisory experience in OSP engineering design or construction
+ Experience in surveying or utility locating
+ Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation
