Position Summary:

The Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst is responsible for providing timely and accurate financial reporting and analyses on a monthly or other periodic basis to help support the field and drive the company’s overall corporate profitability. The position has responsibility for overall reporting, pricing models and supporting the forecast process for company’s distribution centers. The position will work on various financial planning and analysis tasks, including management reporting, strategic planning, forecasting, financial modeling, and other analysis as needed.

Compensation: $65-75k, plus bonus

Responsibilities:

Monthly or other periodic duties and responsibilities include:

+ Develops and maintains defined monthly sales reporting and margin analysis.

+ Ensures contract compliance for major accounts.

+ Develops, maintains and executes profitability analysis to support sales bidding process for renewals of existing accounts and prospective new accounts.

+ Develops and reports sales performance compensation.

+ Develops and maintains product line profitability reporting.

+ Conducts accurate and timely analysis supporting significant capital decisions.

+ Coordinates reporting with accounting.

+ Participate in cross functional activities involving key business processes.

+ Supports the monthly forecast process for multiple DC’s.

+ Ad hoc requests as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with a degree in Accounting or Finance, or a Business degree with a background or minor in Accounting; or 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
