Part-Time Manufacturing Optimization Power Platform Specialist
Position Summary:
This is a part-time 6-month contract onsite in Decatur, IL.
The Manufacturing Optimization Power Platform Specialist is an entry level, salary exempt position in the Focused Improvement and Analytics (FI&A) team. The FI&A Team is part of a larger Global Technology & Engineering Center of Excellence. The Power Platform Specialist will have a passion about using technology to deliver real improvements in manufacturing and everyday tasks onsite in Decatur, IL.
The Specialist will be responsible for the developing, upgrading, and maintaining Power Platforms to gather & visualize the required data that will improve manufacturing process efficacy in colleague safety, product quality, environmental impact, process reliability, and profitability. This role will have a passion to deliver real improvements through technology
Job Responsibilities:
+ Develop, upgrade & maintain Microsoft Power Platform for Manufacturing
+ Collaborate with various teams in Performance Excellence CoE, plant management, Automation & Technology CoEs for meaningful understanding and feedback of customer needs. Utilize this understanding and feedback to develop useful tools and actionable visualizations for the customer.
+ Utilize problem-solving skills to understand process pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise.
+ Installation and configuration of data gateways.
+ Develop and manage skills in Power Apps, Power Automate and PowerBI
Job Requirements:
+ Currently pursuing an Associates or Bachelors degree
+ Certification in Microsoft Power Platforms is desirable. If Specialist is not currently certified, ADM will provide online training through Microsoft with the expectation the Specialist passes the various certifications.
+ Good experience with MS PowerApps; including design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
+ Demonstrated success working individually on projects as well as part of a team
+ Ability to understand customer needs and create meaningful visualizations
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with all parts of the company such as operators, engineers, and commercial personnel.
+ Understanding of Agile Project Management with project management experience preferred.
+ Experience consolidating SharePoint and disparate systems using Power Platform
+ Ability to create business process and custom connectors with Power Automate.
