Job Description
Chemical Operator – Ringwood, IL *
The Chemical Operator is responsible for mixing and blending materials, operating chemical reactors, distillation columns, packaging and palletizing products in a safe manner while documenting processes. Will train.
Details:
+ Full time with multiple roles available!

+ Will rotate every 6 weeks between day and night shifts
+ $25/hr
Responsibilities:
+ Hand truck and Forklift operation.
+ Handling of hazardous materials and waste.
+ Loading, blending, and pumping of wet or dry materials.
+ Filtering and sampling materials.
+ Operating batch reactors, distillation columns, waste evaporation.
+ Drumming of finished liquid product into trucks, drums, bottles, etc.
+ Packaging and palletizing solid products in bags / drums.
+ Performing general housekeeping duties including cleaning equipment.
+ Recording and logging data both manually and into the computer system.
+ Performing all work safely and injury-free — reporting any spills or injuries quickly.
+ Other duties as requested by management.
Requirements:
+ Must be 18 and maintain a valid driver’s license.
+ Must be able to wear a respirator-cannot have facial hair around the sealing surface.
+ Must be able to lift and handle 55 lbs.
+ Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and able to be on feet for most of the day.
+ Must have experience or be able to learn to operate Forklifts and Pallet Jacks.
