Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ITS Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to direct engineering staff work and manage traffic engineering projects .

What You’ll Be Doing:

+ Setting up and managing traffic and transportation technology related projects.

+ lead specific tasks as needed to ensure the success of projects.

+ Work closely with engineers, software developers and IT professionals to plan and implement project solutions

+ Track project tasks, deliverables and budgets

+ asses risks and monitor risks throughout projects

+ Work with other project managers and team members to support the success and growth of the region.

+ Attend conferences and other activities to promote growth and business development

+ Help manage and support the growth of supporting staff.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

+ Refer to Job Description for Education and Experience Requirements

+ Registered PE in Illinois

+ 10 + years of related experience

+ Experience managing transportation projects and/or engineering programs

+ Traffic engineering and ITS experience

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

+ Proven track record of professional growth and development

+ strong understanding of local transportation design and ITS standards

+ Good understanding of the operations of local and regional transportation agencies

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical/business field and typically 10+ years of related work experience is required. Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background. Professional registration may also be required.

Salary Range:

$113,100.00 – $219,400.00
