Job Description
Prior to fertilizing fields, prepare by pumping water, anhydrous ammonia, and other chemicals/fertilizers from our storage tanks into the nurse tanks, calculating blends, batching the blends, pumping the blends into storage tanks on vehicles, and bringing the vehicles, fertilizer, and equipment to fields. Spraying Chemicals and Liquid Fertilizer w/ a self propelled High Clearance Applicator Spreading Dry Fertilizer and lime w/ a self propelled Floater Applying Anhydrous Ammonia w/ Tractor and Tool Bar Side Dress/Top Dress Application w/ High Clearance Applicator or Tractor Maintenance on Equipment Put facility back in order ( cleaning, putting away tools, sweeping, etc.) Painting Propane Tanks and Grain Bins Maintaining Fuel Tanks, Grain Bins, and Buildings to ensure longevity Washing and Cleaning all Equipment
