SAP PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT - INTERCOMPANY: AbbVie, Inc. - Vernon Hills, IL
Lead, participate, and coordinate end-to-end execution of Record to Report (RTR) solutions, related projects and technology implementations. Introduce best practice and process improvement ideas. Process expertise and solution design in SAP Finance, Intercompany processes and reconciliation. Provide process expertise and solutions in SAP FICO, transfer price structure, legal entity structures, consolidations and integration with other SAP Modules and non-SAP tools such as Vertex, Blackline, HFM, etc. Employ experience working with different systems and clients of SAP such as SAP ECC, SAP SRM, SAP SCM, and SAP Solution Manager. Define alternative technical solutions and advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on other business processes and system priorities. Responsible for reviewing feasibility of business requirements and design processes, as well as providing solutions and coordinating with teams to complete development of the requirements to meet quality and client specific standards using SAP ECC and associated systems. Adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, SOX compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle. Align department priorities appropriately, determines critical success factors, evaluates, and pursues initiatives based on fit with strategies. Define templates, standards, and patterns to be used across project teams. Work closely with cross-functional teams in SAP for integrated and end-to-end solutions. Recommend technical solutions to business problems, considering maintainability, reliability, and availability of systems solutions relative to business expectations. Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with all levels across the company and with external partners. Manage contractors, direct/indirect at varying levels of the Project Management job family.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field of study with at least 5 years of related experience in the following: (i) working with different systems and clients of SAP such as SAP ECC, SAP SRM, SAP SCM, and SAP Solution Manager; (ii) reviewing feasibility of business requirements and design processes, as well as providing solutions and coordinating with teams to complete development of the requirements to meet quality and client specific standards using SAP ECC and associated systems; and (iii) working closely with cross-functional teams in SAP for integrated and end-to-end solutions.
