Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Description: Assist Manufacturing Engineers with all aspects of their daily routines.
Key Tasks:
+ PPAP Project Support
+ Conduct troubleshooting studies for machinery and quality issues
+ 8D project studies
+ Documentation updates (system & floor)
+ SPC studies
+ Plant floor layout design
+ Time Studies and Process Cycle Time Improvements
+ Redesign machine components
+ Document Preparation and design (Work Standards, Control Plans, Process Documentation)
+ Gaging – CPK Studies
+ OEE & Process Standards
+ Machining Capability Improvements
+ Tolerances
+ Reduce process variation
Education Requirements Include:
+ Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field with a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0.
Additional Requirements:
+ Experience showing mechanical aptitude a plus
+ Excellent communication skills required – oral and written
+ Good multi-tasking skills
+ Ability to drive for results is essential
+ Ability to do logical problem solving
+ Basic understanding of engineering principles
+ Willingness and desire to learn.
+ Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
+ Computer literacy is necessary
+ Time Management Skills
