Position Summary:

The Replenishment Buyer is responsible for the daily management and procurement of materials/vendors on their specific buying desk.

Responsibilities:

+ Maintains service level and inventory objectives (inventory turns) as defined by management.

+ Manages supply chain purchasing of all materials on buying desk, inter-housing between plants to minimize gaps in coverage.

+ Conducts back order reviews and stock status report daily to react to at-risk materials.

+ Provides back order feedback daily/weekly to Core-Mark’s sales teams

+ Performs purchase order back order reviews for vendor cuts and late deliveries

+ Monitor liquidation of excess inventory along with sales team, vendors, and Inventory management team

+ Performs Load-builder result list ordering, restricted buying, forward buying, price increase buying, and unplanned forecast changes.

+ Maintains all sourcing material/vendor data on an ongoing basis through the Master Data Team, reviewing lead times, ordering increments & vendor minimums quarterly

+ Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

+ One to two years’ related experience and/or training

+ High School Diploma Required

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred
