Key Responsibilities and Duties
+ Support Equity trade matching, confirmation, transmission, and settlement for all publicly traded securities – 45%
+ Maintain settlement data across various platforms for all accounts and brokers – 5%
+ Work directly with various custodians, brokers, and corporate action teams to facilitate any extraordinary settlement issues – 15%
+ Communicate effectively with Traders, Portfolio Managers, and other internal contacts to build strong working relationships with them – 10%
+ Work directly with IT or vendors to resolve any technical issues – 5%
+ Continually be looking for opportunities to improve systems and processes to achieve greater efficiency, accuracy, speed, and straight through processing in our daily tasks – 10%
+ Other duties as assigned and required – 10%

Nuveen is seeking a Senior Analyst, Investment Trade Settlements for Non-US Equity & Fixed Income Trade Settlements. The primary focus is on matching, confirmation, transmission, and settlement of Non-US Equity & Fixed Income trades. The successful candidate will be an experienced, energetic, and contributing member of a highly driven group of professionals focused on settling Non-US Equity & Fixed Income securities, as well as all tasks associated with the new account setup and account maintenance.
Required Skills:
+ Experience in a Financial Services Operations area (Trade Operations, Settlements, Portfolio Accounting, or Middle Office).
+ Experience in the Investment Management industry.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with Equity Settlements.
+ Solid understanding of the lifecycle of a trade from execution to settlement.
+ Solid understanding of SWIFT messaging and format.
+ Experience with industry trade matching utilities, like Omgeo ALERT, CTM.
+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to understand complex workflows.

Base Pay Range: $34.25/hr. – $57.09/hr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
