Description
+ Review of compliance with financial policies
+ Review and testing of transaction processing.
+ Assessment of revenue recognition practices including
+ project budget adjustments
+ over under billed status
+ cost of completion percentage to ensure accuracy of earned revenue and profit as reported.
+ The position will interact with operating units, regional accounting, and corporate accounting.
+ 10-15% travel
Requirements+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
+ Minimum 3 or more years’ of progressive construction industry related experience in accounting or auditing
+ Project accounting experience is ideal
+ Applied working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting procedures, and auditing standards
+ Solid communication and skills to adapt and effectively work with varying styles across multiple operating units to successfully complete the audit requirements.
+ Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
