What you will do:

As a Sr. Process Engineer, you will be a part of new product development team to work on design concept to product commercialization programs. You will identify and implement best in class manufacturing processes/automation to support the new product portfolio. You will lead/support capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, installation, and validation activities and:

+ Execute the innovation and development of assigned project elements with an emphasis on the manufacturing process, technology and procedures required for the manufacture of new products.

+ Independently determine and develop approaches to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.

+ Develop capital projects including equipment estimates, resource plans, and quality requirements. Monitor and report on project progress to ensure delivery on time and on budget.

+ Uses latest engineering techniques to reduce product time to market whilst adhering to regulatory requirements, project deadlines and product costs.

+ Provide engineering support for new product and process introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the Stryker new product development procedures.

+ Execute equipment and process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ)

+ Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generation associated with product transfers and launches.

Minimum qualifications:

+ A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred Mechanical, Biomedical, or Textiles Technology / Engineering)

+ 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (highly preferred medical consumables and equipment)

Preferred qualification:

+ Experience in process data analysis, controls, and instrumentation

+ Experience in product/process development at OEM/suppliers is highly.

+ Experience in one or more of these areas: plastic molding, sealing, ultrasonic/RF welding, assembly automation, packaging.
