Insurance Sales Representative / Sales Service (CSSR)

The Position
As a Customer Service and Sales Representative (CSSR), you will be responsible for delivering an amazing customer experience. If a customer leaves a meeting, or ends a call with you saying “Wow” – you will do great here.
The NELSON Agency – Farmers Offers:
- Base Pay (hourly or salary), Standard Commissions, Compounding Commissions and some Bonus opportunity for performers.

Responsibilities:
- 1st and Foremost – Deliver an Amazing Customer Experience.
- Exceeding a client’s expectations on everyday inquiries …
- General Questions
- Product Inquiries
- Coverage Changes
- Billing Questions / Payment Reminders & Processing
- Claims concierge – when that bad day comes around.
- Develop and calculate suitable plans based on a client’s needs and budget ( never over-sell a client what a family can afford). Do the right thing.
- Participate in community support / marketing events (paid) as needed (3-5 year)
- Other general business needs as needed – Teamwork.
Qualifications:
- You are a nice person, that cares about others.
- You have a very strong work ethic
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in insurance, sales, customer service, or other related fields is preferred.
- You must be licensed to sell in the state, but if not … the agency has a reimbursement plan for you to get your license(s).
- Successfully pass a Background Check

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Pay:
- Starting Salary $28,000 per year + commission + bonus opportunity
- Starting Hourly $13.00 per hour + commission + bonus opportunity
Schedule:
- Flexible
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay
- Bonus pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Offices are located in Winfield, IL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification:
- Illinois Insurance Producer License (Preferred – but, not required initially )
