This position is responsible for machine set-up/operation of secondary equipment with limited direction or supervision. This position will ensure production as well as quality standards are met and troubleshoot and solve basic problems for the assigned machine group. Continuous improvement of processes and products are an ongoing function of this position.

+ Set-up and operate equipment as required

+ Perform first piece inspection, monitor the quality of all parts, and make adjustments maintain quality standards

+ Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/QS documentation

+ Perform minor machine maintenance such as oil changes and tightening of bolts

+ Move material by operating forklift or using non-motorized devices

+ Suggest process improvement ideas

+ Assist and train other operators as needed

+ Previous Roll Thread Experience

+ Ability to use all gages and gaging techniques required.

+ Thorough understanding of SPC.

+ Previous computer experience.

+ Knowledge in ISO/QS requirements.

+ Ability to set-up and operate one or more sizes/types of roll thread equipment.

+ Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of all required documentation.

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

+ Ability to identify routine problem causation and correct routine problems. Required Hs Diploma/GED OR Relevant experience.

+ Fluent in English (both strong verbal and written communication skills).

+ Solid math skills.
