School Social Worker
AnthroMed Education is a devoted organization committed to partnering with School Social Workers and other Related Service professionals with local schools across Illinois. Our School Social Workers get to be a part of something amazing, helping students succeed day in and day out. We also provide clinical caseload support, continuing education, salaries paid weekly, and three incredible BCBS PPO Health Insurance plans! We are looking to immediately connect with a School Social Worker who is available to begin employment on 3/9/2023 and support through the end of the school year in Joliet, IL. The selected professional will be supporting back-to-back leave coverages and will work full-time, Monday-Friday. Overview: 1st Leave Coverage+ Provide social work services to Preschool students (ages 3-5)
+ Support students individually and potentially in groups when needed
+ Manage a 40 student caseload
2nd Leave Coverage+ Provide social work services to Elementary students (K-4th)
+ Support and deliver therapy to students with an IEP
+ Assist with crisis situations
+ Provide MTSS support
+ Complete special education evaluations as needed
Qualifications:+ Master’s Degree in School Social Work (MSW) is required
+ Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement is required
+ Previous experience in a school setting is encouraged
+ Ability to work both individually as well as in a team-based environment with parents, teachers, students, and administrators
