Speech Language Pathologist
Overview: AnthroMed Education is a top service provider of related services professionals to schools across Greater Chicago. We’re super thrilled because this school year, we are expanding our plans for clinical support and continuing education and making a ton of investments in our materials database to further help our team members in their daily practice. We are growing our team by the week and are currently searching for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Bellwood, IL. We are looking for an SLP who will be excited to support K-5th grade students in a General Education building. On top of that, the SLP will be comfortable managing a caseload of speech/language-only students and will take the lead in conducting IEP meetings. If you’re interested in learning more, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:+ Collaborate with a team of Special Education and Related Service Professionals daily.
+ Communicate with professionals and parents to observe, plan, implement, monitor, and facilitate the generalization of oral and written communication skills.
+ Provide and complete assessments in a timely, diligent manner.
+ Monitor individual progress towards measurable goals and objectives.
+ Advocate for the individual’s communication needs across a variety of settings.
+ Use a variety of service delivery options, evidence-based practices, and facilitate generalization of communication skills.
+ Conduct speech and language case study evaluations.
+ Manage time and organize material regularly to maintain accurate, complete, and correct records.
+ Complete required documentation and data collection necessary for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.
+ Attend and lead IEP meetings.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
+ Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License.
+ Active Professional Educator License (PEL).
