Responsibilities

A Technology Sr. Consultant provides expertise in project management, technical or analytical services, and provides project specific leadership and delivers quality products to clients and takes ownership for the successful implementation of individual projects.

The Technology Sr. Consultant performs Business Development efforts through:

+ Supporting business development initiatives

+ Interfacing with clients

+ Analyzing client request for proposals, and

+ Supporting development of proposal responses

The Technology Sr. Consultant performs Human Capital Development through:

+ Identifying and recommending quality staff

+ Incorporating staff into the day to day business of PCG

+ Mentor staff towards individual development and career growth

+ Directly or indirectly managing project and other staff and subcontractors as needed

The Technology Sr. Consultant performs Quality and Risk Management through:

+ Ensuring quality work products are delivered to clients

+ Managing client facing project teams

+ Providing high-level IT job duties which may include:

+ Portfolio Management

+ Project Management

+ Business and Technical Leadership

+ System Analysis and Quality Assurance

+ Code review

+ System Architecture analysis and recommendation

+ or other similarly skilled IT-related work

+ Providing high level analysis and support to achieve business unit goals

+ Coordinating proposal development and submissions

+ Engaging in high level company business and analysis

+ Exercising discretion and independent judgment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Building and Sustaining PCG’s Business Portfolio

1. Market or participate in marketing services to current and potential clients

2. Participate in firm-building activities

3. Actively participate in Committee assignments and special projects

4. Support proposal development

5. Collaborate fully within the firm, and with external partners and clients to facilitate cross selling and other revenue-increasing activities

2. Managing and Building Upon Client Relationships

1. Preserve existing client relationships

2. Expand existing client relationships

3. Identify and develop prospective new relationships

3. Project Management and Oversight

1. Develop and manage project budgets

2. Adhere to and support the PCG project management approach and other PMO principles and practices

3. Ensure project quality and compliance with all related regulations

4. Ensure communication among all key stakeholders

Qualifications

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

+ Experience with planning, implementing and managing technical solutions for human services public sector and state agencies, particularly Child Welfare and Integrated Eligibility programs.

+ Business management skills to ensure the success and growth of the company.

+ Ability to demonstrate and provide examples of continuous personal development and improvement.

+ Experience in working closely with customers and consultants.

+ Ability to demonstrate competency in financial management, leadership in an interdisciplinary environment, systems thinking and effective written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

+ Highly skilled and proficient in the theoretical and practical application of highly specialized information to computer systems analysis, code development and software engineering.

+ Ability to manage and administer a broad range of tasks.

+ Skill in presenting ideas and presenting oral and written reports.

+ Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

+ Analytical and problem solving skills.

+ Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.

+ Knowledge of data processing systems, concepts and methodologies.

+ Ability to assess customer goals, needs and interests with respect to the implementation/appropriateness of information technology solutions.

+ Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to create and maintain highest levels of confidentiality when dealing with proprietary or private information.

+ Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job function.

+ Ability to work as a team, and independently.

+ Ability to attend work as scheduled and continues to work until the needs and interests of the company and/or the customer are met.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.?As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $115,000 – $155,000 . In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
