Key Responsibilities:

The Manager of Design manages training assessment, design and development for end stage delivery for a number of corporate and division curricula. The design leader oversees development in collaboration with each organization’s planning and field teams.

+ Leads a team of instructional designers who support design and development into delivery stages of curricula

+ Facilitates organizational changes by offering organizational diagnoses, transition management, integrated change agendas, and performs small to large group interventions

+ Partners with planning organization clientele as well as Hub Training Leaders in prioritization of curricula design and development; testing and evaluation

+ Diagnoses required competencies and analyzes current capabilities for curriculum development

+ Compliance with regulatory, enterprise and local audits of training curricula

+ Ensures test administration and use of test results conform to company policies and legal requirements applicable to each country within the region – tests for compliance and regulatory and ASTD standards

+ Collaborates with Technology Leader and Compliance Leader ensuring accurate tracking of courses in the United Learning Network

+ Responsible for worldwide design and development coordination of curricula for: station start-ups; vendor transitions; differences training; on-the-job integration assimilation training; etc

+ Seamless vendor transitions in hub and geographical locations

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

+ Bachelor’s degree in education or similar field or equivalent work experience

+ At least 4 years’ experience in education, learning design or adult training field

+ Experience leading/managing a team

+ Prior hands-on experience designing and developing eLearning courses.

+ Adult learning principles and creativity

+ Strong business sense

+ Ability to align leadership development objectives with the overall business strategy of the organization

+ Industry leading training curriculum design and development for training requirements

+ Delivery of industry leading e-Learning Curricula

+ Partnership with client on assessment

+ Prioritization and sustainability planning

+ Able to work independent and in a team as required by the project

+ Work in a fast-paced environment and pivot across projects as needed

+ Very strong written and verbal communication skills ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization

+ Strong problem solving and analytical skills

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

+ Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
