Speech Language Pathologist: 2023-2024 School Year
AnthroMed Education is looking to expand our community of Speech-Language Pathologists. We have an immediate, full-time, Speech-Language Pathologist opening for the 2023-24 school year with our partners in Bellwood. This position will be responsible for providing services to 25 early childhood students in blended and instructional classrooms. This is a highly supportive and community-focused elementary school that will provide excellent resources to SLP’s and their students. Responsibilities:+ Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth
+ Provide services to a caseload of 25 PreK and Kindergarten students
+ Case Management of speech only kids
+ Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students with growth needs
+ Assist special education coordinators with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
+ Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students’ speech and/or language needs
+ Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
+ Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders
Qualifications:+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
+ Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
+ Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
