Job Description
Software Engineer at Endotronix, Inc. in Naperville, IL.
Use industry best practices and domain expertise to lead design, documentation, development, and maintenance of application software solutions for customers in the remote medical monitoring healthcare sector. Conduct root cause analysis and implement technically efficient solutions to identify issues in production or during development testing. Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions, code reviews and technical design/specifications in collaboration with the project team. Assess the impact of software changes and conduct integration tests to identify and mitigate risks. Identify and translate system requirements into software design documentation. Draw upon domain expertise to analyze requirements and convert into functional specifications for customers in the healthcare sector. Position based in Lisle, IL. May work a hybrid schedule telecommuting from home two days a week.
Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related technical field and at least 7 years of experience in the job offered or 7 years of experience in software engineering.
All stated experience must include at least 7 years of experience in each of the following:
- Developing mobile applications; and
- Working with Agile methodologies.
Stated experience must also include at least 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Developing Android applications, including 2 years of experience developing Android applications that interface with Windows web applications;
- Hands-on experience using source code management tools;
- Hands-on experience using ticket management tools for the software development lifecycle;
- Utilizing RESTful web services and JSON/XML;
- Utilizing Android Studio;
- Utilizing Java and XML;
- Working with secure communications, data encryption and wireless technologies; and
- Working with Client/Server Technologies.
