Job Description
Job Summary
The Packaging Associate packages and inspects all pet treats coming from other departments in the facility. The Packaging Associates ensures treats are packaged correctly by inspecting and completing the filling, labeling, printing and packaging process.
Work Duties
- Package treats/food/supplements based on work order details
- Inform Operators and Leads of any quality concerns
- Check package seals and lot numbers for accuracy
- Move pans and racks in and out of the pack room to support packaging
- Dump product into packaging equipment as needed
- Assist Operators and Leads with any requested duties
- Follow all pre and post inspection procedures
- Other job duties as assigned by lead or supervisor
