Responsibilities:+ Complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting following the agency’s or municipality’s documentation processes (including quantity calculations for payment, field book entry, etc.)
+ Perform quantity take-offs and estimates requiring the ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
+ Layout or verify construction layout according to the contract drawings and documents
+ Assist the project-specific Client Supervisor or other members of the project team with various engineering tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience:
+ BS in Civil Engineering
+ 0-3 years experience in the field.
+ EIT certification a plus.
+ The candidate may be required to obtain additional job-related certifications as necessary.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills.
+ Good communication skills.
+ Strong multitasking skills.
+ Analytical and critical thinking skills.
+ Be versatile and service-oriented.
+ Computer literacy.
+ The ability to lift 25 pounds.
+ The ability to traverse uneven terrain/moderate climbing.
