Title: Inventory Analyst – 97259

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As an Inventory Analyst for John Deere located in Mattoon, IL , you will research, analyze and document the various inventory data. In addition, you will:

+ Analyze inventory count results identifying problem areas, root cause analysis of problem and suggest corrective action plans

+ Perform on-going parts statistical sampling audits

+ Develop a corrective action process for inbound parts with a high receipt error rate, as well as perform analysis of reported errors identifying parts packaging problems implementing corrective actions to include communication to problem suppliers

+ Participate in department and cross-functional process improvement teams

+ Document best practices and lessons learned

+ Replenish management for reserve to prime work direction

What Skills You Need

+ 1 or more years of experience working in one or more operations supporting functions such as warehousing, and logistics

+ Well versed and experienced using Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and other Microsoft tools

+ High level of attention to detail and accuracy

+ Capacity to use multiple data systems and warehouse control systems

+ 1 or more years of experience managing multi-million-dollar inventories

+ 1 or more years of experience of warehouse backorder investigation and resolution including root cause

+ Willingness to work as part of a diverse and dynamic team

+ A positive attitude and a team first mentality

+ Adapts to change and can lead teammates with an inclusive approach

+ A forward-looking perspective focused on continuous improvement

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

+ Bachelor’s degree in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management discipline or equivalent experience
