Job Functions
*Use Finite Element Analysis tools such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, and PATRAN to conduct 3D and 2D static, dynamic, vibration, and thermal analyses
*Provide in-person support to less experienced engineers through training, daily guidance, and technical reviews
*Work in a fast-paced, team environment to meet quick deadlines
*Learn, understand, and apply our customer’s standard procedures
*Support quotation efforts with accurate estimates of structures time required to complete tasks
*Develop procedures and analysis plans for different types of serviceable and repairable limits
*Create Structural Analysis Memos which includes documenting all work, presenting findings to our customers, and making recommendations.
*Review the work of other analysts using standards and specifications as criteria.
*Make technical recommendations based on engineering judgment and interpretation of analysis results.
*Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement and take ownership for implementation

Qualifications
We’re excited to talk to you if:
*BS or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
*Strong communication skills
*Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
*Experience with FEA, i.e ANSYS or Abaqus
*Experience or academic background with mechanics of materials, vibrations, metal fatigue, finite element analysis and fractures mechanics
*Like to work in a fast paced, creative environment
