The Role at a Glance

We are excited to onboard a Senior QA Software Tester to our Salesforce Center of Excellence team to work remotely.

Background Details:

Lincoln’s IT organization is adding a Senior QA Software Tester to provide subject matter expertise and direction on testing new solutions and enhancements within Lincoln’s Field Distribution and Marketing organizations. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a team that has fully embraced the agile methodology and DevOps and collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and deliver complex software testing solutions. As a Senior QA Software Tester, you can expect to test custom solutions within the Salesforce space and beyond, integrating with multiple applications and technologies. Additionally, you are expected to write and create automation environments using our inhouse Selenium automation framework.

What you’ll be doing

+ Create testing artifacts including Test Strategy, Test Execution Status Report, and Defect Reports.

+ Implement and support testing solutions which include Salesforce in an ecosystem of multiple business-critical systems (cloud and on-prem).

+ Handle changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and work within tight timeframes and deadlines.

+ Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external team members to meet delivery objectives.

+ Participate and engage in agile methods, ceremonies, and best practices.

+ Analyze and understand abstract use cases or business requirements, with the ability to transform them into test cases and test scripts.

+ Assist customers with UAT planning, execution, and defect triaging, as needed.

+ Plan, design, and enhance Selenium automation scripts wherever possible.

+ Perform both manual and automation tests.

What we’re looking for

+ 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience

+ 4+ years of professional experience testing in the Salesforce Platform

+ 2+ years of experience writing and maintaining Selenium automation scripts

+ Strong understanding of SQA methodologies

+ Excellent communication and written skills

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Experience working within an agile team

+ Great attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate and document defects in complex software features

Nice-to haves:

+ Exposure to Financial Services Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud

+ Experience within the Financial Services industry

+ Experience with testing APIs using tools such as Postman

+ Working knowledge of a database query language e.g., PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server

+ Salesforce certification(s) is a plus

+ Experience with performance testing using tools such as Apache JMeter

Pay Range: $102,301 – $184,500

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
