Position SummaryWe are on a mission to simplify and enable both On Benefits and Off Benefits Pharmacy experiences for our patients through our digital products. Each day our digital pharmacy products are accessed by millions of lives across the nation. We are looking for a Senior Digital Front-End Engineer II – Angular, who can join us in this mission to build reusable UI experiences which can be developed, deployed, work independently & faster. An ideal candidate will be an expert in Angular & has familiarity with React JS. A subject matter expert in Frontend Software Engineering best practices. This includes coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.Work Breakdown Structure for This Role:In this role, you will be spending 75% of time hands on with, Angular, DevOps, Google Cloud Platform, and similar front end technologies. You will be mentoring/guiding team members 25% of time, along with partnering with product, architecture, data science and engineering. You will demonstrate superior technical leadership qualities, lead the conversation, have an eye for great design, provide hands-on coding as required and have a proven track record of pushing projects from conception to customers.Expected KPI’s For This Role:· In the pre-planning process, responsible for reviewing features and epics with product team and providing feedback through continuous refinement· Will additionally provide collaboration/contribution with architecture on POCs, runway items and technical artifacts· Act as a subject matter expert and as a front end technical lead for the day to day operations for the team of 7-10 engineers · Provide knowledge and engineering insight to guide early designs, accelerate project decision-making, and maintain close oversight of technical execution· Create and implement new customer approaches within Pharmacy to increase participation and repeat usage· Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements· Be a technologist and work with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and performing assigned tasks within deadlines· Be an advocate for and implementer of best engineering practicesLocation : Prefer someone local to Texas, however will consider candidates who can work from any of our digital office locations in AZ, RI, IL . Travel once a quarter for PI planning .

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 115,000

Maximum: 230,000

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications

· 8+ years of experience in software development in enterprise/ web applications. · 8+ years of experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, html, CSS, etc., · 5+ years of experience with Angular 2+.· 3+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies.· 3+ years of experience with Nodejs, AngularJS or other open-source technologies/frameworks.· 3+ years of experience with stack reviews, code reviews, improvement, best practices, mentor junior engineers, be a part of the solution discussion.· 2+ years of experience working in CI/CD pipeline, Circle CI, Harness, or similar tools.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience is required
