Loyola’s Digestive Health Care Team in Maywood is for you!! Join our team and support the nationally recognized experts in this field as they work to develop personalized treatment plans for our patients.

This role is essential in promoting a positive patient experience and ensuring efficient clerical operations and hands on care.

Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position:

+ Welcome and assist patients as they enter the physician practice. Your warm and friendly demeanor sets a positive tone for their visit

+ Patient Registration, and scheduling appointments

+ Provide direct patient care, weight, vitals, preparing them for the physician’s visit

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ BLS CPR by the American Heart Association.

+ Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, OR one year of Medical Assistant work experience can be substituted for the successful completion of an accredited medical assistant program.

Must obtain at least one (1) of the following Medical Assistant credentials within 6 months of hire date:

American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

American Medical Technologists (AMT)

National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
