Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist is a dynamic position that facilitates the planning, development, and execution of digital marketing strategies. This position is responsible for managing online channels focusing on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media, digital media, and marketing analytics. This position will also be responsible for the collection and reporting of success metrics and providing insights and opportunities to expand brand awareness to support our business objectives.

+ Manage the planning, writing, editing, and publishing of all digital content.

+ Maintain Group O website and make timely updates.

+ Manage, measure, analyze and report on web performance, including SEO.

+ Analyze performance metrics weekly, monthly and quarterly to measure effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.

+ Develop, maintain, and distribute reports and dashboards that effectively present digital marketing metrics.

+ Manage social media channels – particularly Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube

+ Collaborate with designers to develop compelling creative.

+ Collaborate on the production of photography, graphics and video content.

+ Create and distribute sales emails and monitor effectiveness (click rates, open rates, bounces, etc.)

+ Be a champion for our company branding, messaging, and digital best practices.

+ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing

+ 3-5 years digital marketing experience with a strong focus on search engine and social media marketing

+ Google Analytics/Adword Certification

+ Deep knowledge and understanding of ad platforms (Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, mobile ad networks, etc.)

+ Strong knowledge of SEO

+ Copywriting and proofreading skills

+ Research skills to acquire competitive intelligence.

+ Strong Analytical skills (understand key metrics and develop action plans using that data)

+ Excellent internet and computer application skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

+ Familiarity with email distribution platforms, such as HubSpot

+ Proficiency with content management platforms (such as ModX)

+ Experience in mobile marketing, app promotion and/or remarketing

+ Exceptional project management and organizational skills with good attention to detail
