Job Description
Description Robert Half is looking for a Staff Accountant for a client in the southwest suburbs. The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager. The Staff Accountant will provide support the Accounting Department with all duties.
Responsibilities include:
• Prepare journal entries
• Prepare daily bank activity
• Reconcile Income Statements
• Perform account reconciliations
• Review outstanding costs
• Assist with customer set ups
• Assist with payroll runs
• Resolve Aging Reports
• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
Successful Staff Accountant will have the following Education and Experience:
• Undergraduate Degree: Business, Accounting or Finance
• Prior accounting experience a plus
• Experience in construction related field a plus.
• Must be PC proficient and strong experience with MS Office and Excel and other large automated accounting systems.
