Farnsworth Group is seeking a Survey Crew Chief in either or Lisle or Tinley Park, IL office. This position entails performing a wide variety of surveys in various locations. There is up to 50% expected travel. This is not a contract position; we are looking to fill a permanent position where you will have the opportunity to establish and develop a career in Land Surveying.
Job Activities:
+ ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
+ Boundary Surveys
+ Topographic Surveys
+ Construction Layout
+ As-Built Pipeline Surveys
+ 3D Scanning
+ UAV Surveys
Specific Requirements include:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 3+ years of property survey experience, including ALTA and Section Line Surveys
+ Experience with Trimble GPS, Total Station and Data Collectors
+ Ability to organize field notes
+ Ability to read Construction Plans
+ Experience performing Boundary Research, preferred
+ LSIT, preferred
+ Ability to execute field staking
+ Strong math skills
+ Valid driver’s license
+ 50% travel required
Desired Qualifications:
+ Oil & Gas Pipeline experience
+ DOT experience
