Summary: Under general supervision performs a variety of inspection activities within production runs.

Safety is #1 at BTD: Our expectation is that every employee: 1) Strictly follows safety policies, rules and safe work methods. 2) Promptly corrects or reports safety hazards or unsafe conditions. Promptly reports injuries for prompt diagnosis and treatment. 3) Makes regular suggestions for safety process improvements to support continuous improvement in safety.

Essential Functions:

1. Performs FPC/LPC as required per site.

2. Performs EQCP QA checks as needed.

3. Performs LPA audit activities to ensure ISO requirements are met.

4. Capable of updating EQCP’s real time as needed.

5. Capable of identifying and reporting SWI improvements so SWI’s can be updated real time.

6. While performing job functions, watches for ways to eliminate or consolidate unnecessary EQCP checks to speed up productivity while maintaining part quality.

7. Capable of generating Non-Conformance notifications (RA) and communicating appropriately.

8. Capable of creating or updating patterns as needed per site.

9. Capable of doing incoming receiving inspection and does inspections as needed.

10. Capable of helping with PPI’s as needed.

11. Accurately tracks and reports daily tasks to assure that productivity requirements are being achieved.

12. Works with the QA leadership, Operations leadership, and L&D department to ensure operator training needs are met.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Graduation from high school or equivalent.

Experience and Skills Required: At least five months of recent related mechanical and shop experience which includes the following skills and activities:

1. Working knowledge of warehouse activities and inventory control.

2. Working knowledge of computerized inventory.

3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Axapta.

4. Ability to exercise problem analysis and problem resolution.

5. Knowledge of related safety requirements to include proper use of safety equipment and proper safety precautions.

6. Ability to understand, follow, and issue routine oral and written instructions.

7. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
