Job Description
Consultants II for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the US (HQ: Chicago, IL). Build, simulate, enhance and translate analytic and statistical solutions in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Responsible for multiple client engagements, projects and project delivery and expanding business solutions, deriving insights from data analytics, developing proposals and statements of work to address client needs. Perform analytic market structure hypothesis development and simulation execution. Deliver end-to-end analytics services from data ingestion, analysis and visualization to documenting insights and recommendations using large data structures, and sets. Train client teams in analytical models, Consumer Decision Tree models, New product forecasting and New Concept Testing. Leverage software approaches to address business challenges and marketing opportunities. Perform data mining with large (>1GB/1M records or 50 columns + 45K rows) data sets and build decision support systems to develop business insights. Present market structure insights and new product forecasting output results to internal and external clients, and technical subject matter to non-technical audiences. Train and mentor junior team members and client teams. Technical Environment: statistical techniques (clustering, multi-dimensional scaling, segmentation, correspondence analysis); statistical programming tools (R, Python (Toolkits (Scikit-learn, NumPy, Scipy, Pandas)), SAS, SPSS, Unix); MySQL, SQL; Machine learning (Regression, Classification), data visualization; qualitative & quantitative market survey, modeling (market research); panel, survey and usage data to address market issues; modeling (market research); Excel.
