ZRS Head of Climate Solutions

Zurich North America is hiring an ZRS Head of Climate Solutions to join our team! This individual will lead the profitable growth of ZRS’s climate change-related services, launching and managing climate-related services that help customers build climate resilience and improve their emissions management strategy.
Responsibilities include:
+ Leading the ZRS go-to-market strategy for ZRS climate services including core services, target customers, tailored value propositions, and pricing.
+ Engaging with potential and current customers to develop holistic solutions, provide consulting services, and win business, in collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., ZRS leaders, risk engineers, underwriters).
+ Serving as an internal and external subject matter expert for climate-change related topics, including scientific developments, regulatory requirements, historical industry practices, and forward-looking trends and innovations.
+ Identifying emerging climate-related market opportunities and develop practical resilience solutions to address them, collaborating with our ZRS Global Climate Change Resilience Services Hub.
+ Identifying and manage strategic vendor relationships to provide a holistic Climate Solutions offering.
+ Strengthening ZRS’ profile as a go-to resource for climate change services and expertise (e.g., thought leadership, industry visibility).
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area (e.g., analyzing and addressing environmental- and climate-related risks)
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in consulting and sales/distribution of climate change-related services
+ Expert knowledge of exposures, controls and best practice risk improvement
+ Awareness / experience with business sustainability
+ Strategic thinking – Vision & Strategy Formulation
+ Entrepreneurial Mindset
+ Strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
+ Strong Interpersonal Skills
Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The Compensation provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. ?As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles. The starting salary range for the position is:$159,400.00 – $219,200.00.
