Gilbane is seeking a Scheduling Executive to be responsible for providing oversight and leadership for the planning and scheduling activities on mega projects. This role is a combination of on site and in office. Position can be on site or travel two weeks on site and two weeks remote.

Responsibilities

 

Manage and control all scheduling data through project management software (Primavera P6, Suretrak)
Recommend to regional and corporate management adoption of latest advances in scheduling applications
Instruct Gilbane University courses involving scheduling and assist in developing new course content
Align Gilbane's and Owners' schedule reporting requirements
Monitor multiple projects' compliance with schedule policies and standards
Participate in complex phasing and logistics planning, incorporate outcomes in appropriate planning tools and present same to stakeholders
Advise project teams on legal requirements in bid processes under various project delivery models
Participate in corrective action plans to address substandard customer satisfaction
Instruct other scheduling staff in the identification and documentation of key risk issues
Identify and assist in resolving critical issues relative to schedule and project controls
Assist project teams and the purchasing department in implementing contract requirements, especially cost and resource loaded schedules
Create efficient means to comply with contract schedule reporting requirements
Participate in development of Fee Proposal concerning scheduling requiremen

 


Qualifications

 

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
BS in Engineering, Architecture or related field
10-15 years relevant experience including working on mega projects
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Current with industry trends & innovations and the potential impact on project schedules
Possess extensive knowledge of all facets of Construction
Exhibit understanding of legal implications of language in Gilbane's Subcontracts and Trade Contracts and in Owner Contracts with Gilbane and Design Firms
