Job Description
What To Expect:
Assists in the creation of the 10 year rolling Business Intelligence Roadmap and 3 year Strategic Plan. Leads the B.I. Development team and implements the daily activities of the Corporate Reporting Platform.
Essential Job Duties
+ Designs and builds Reporting Services reports that meet user/business specifications
+ Use Visual Studio and Team Foundation server to manage the Reporting Platform implementation
+ Analyzes and designs improvements to the current Reporting Platform
+ Creates and maintains the logical and physical data model for the Reporting Platform
+ Manages and documents all ETL processess throughout the Reporting Platform
+ Troubleshhots SQL and reporting functionality and performance issues
+ Carries out supervisory responsibiities in accordance with the organization’s policies, expectations and laws
+ Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, assigning/directing work, performance appraisals, coach/discipline and resolve problems
What You Will Contribute
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
+ Expert level in T-SQL, DDL and DML
+ 5 – 7 years experience with SQL Server 2008R2-2016, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, and SQL Server Administration
+ 5 – 7 years experience data modeling in data warehousing with multiple data marts and disparate data sources
+ Expertise with Visual Studio and use of Team Foundation Server, Agile and Scrum methodologies
+ Knowledge of Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Business Central, Microsoft Sharepoint, O365
+ Working knowledge of Power B.I., R Scripting
+ Strong time management, organizational skills and must be project focused
+ Strong interpersonal verbal/listening/written communication skills
+ Character qualities to be successful in position: enthusiasm, creativity, responsibility, thoroughness and initiative
