Job Description
Our Biotech client in the Chicagoland area is looking for a Snr Food Scientist to join their expanding team. This is an opportunity to work in an SQF 2 certified Lab and hone your R&D and technical skills with a great company.
Responsible for carrying out experimental work at the bench under the direction of the immediate supervisor.
Responsible for developing at least two new innovative product applications with enzymes annually that maintains or increases company sales.
Preparing and providing scientific data to incorporate into at least one promotional material or webinar annually.
Follows GMP and SQF requirements through the company’s quality management system.
Additional Skills: Instrumental assay experience such as with GC, HPLC, and spectrophotometer preferred.
Education/Experience:
Master’s Degree in a food scientific discipline is required.
