Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY :

We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager to join the Spark Product team who will be responsible for leading the product development and management by championing for all external and internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Management at Spark, this position is tasked with supporting the efforts of Ormco’s current digital suite of products, including Spark Aligners software platform as well as the development of Ormco’s future digital portfolio with a concentration on customer facing software. The selected candidate will be responsible for serving as a key contributor to the strategy, product development and prioritization for Spark product portfolio. The person in this position will be regarded as a leader and deep technical expert related to assigned product(s)/product lines with broad knowledge of related fields.

The Product Manager helps to develop the forward-looking product vision/strategy for the digital platform through well supported internal and external research and analyses. The Product Manager controls an assigned product line through its product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives by performing the primary duties and responsibilities of the position.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Build knowledge of the digital product offering, processes and customer experience needed to identify current opportunities of improvement in the area of customer facing software (application and web based)

+ Develop and prioritize product roadmap for customer facing software.

+ Leads through VOC/market research as needed to identify current customer barriers and to assess the value of potential future product improvements/ new products.

+ Drive business case development and go-to market plans for new software offerings.

+ Clearly define user needs/customer requirements, product positioning, key issues/concerns, strategies, and target audiences for assigned product(s)/product lines/ and product training. Owns all development of materials or mediums to support that effort.

+ Partner with R&D to shape customer requirements.

+ Monitor, analyze, and evaluate market trends, consumer behavior and competitor activity to identify unmet needs and market opportunities

+ Work with marketing as a subject matter expert to support development of launch materials, product literature, and any other collateral material required to support sales and key marketing messages

+ Assesses new relevant new technologies and works with Business Development team to assess potential partnerships and acquisitions

+ Present product plans updates to internal management, including executives.

+ Build strong relationships with commercial teams to ensure successful launch of new products.

+ Build strong relationships with leading clinicians around the world.

+ Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

+ Perform other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned

Job Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from four-year College or university.

+ 3+ years of progressively responsible managing software product experience in the medical device industry.

+ Demonstrated ability or experience to build business proposals, define scope and requirements, and serve as a lead contributor throughout a Toll-Gate development project, including product commercialization.

+ Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and statistical analyses.

+ Strong internal and external customer relationship management skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various functional groups, a demonstrated leader.

+ Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.

+ Willingness to travel (approximately 25%).

+ High comfort level with clinical and technical complexity, anchored by a user-centric mindset.

+ Strong strategic thinking, organizational, prioritization and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.

+ Ability to develop, rationalize, and present strategy

+ Ability to lead and work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$120,400 – $141,000
