TITLE:                Supply Chain Insights Manager

HOURS:            Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES:    Leading the development of on-going proactive analysis and insights for all aspects of the supply chain. Responding to specific requests by the supply chain team for insights on key, priority topics. Developing and fostering strategic partnerships across functionally with MP&O, eCommerce, Store Operations, Merchandising, Finance, etc. to tap into existing data analysis including: 1)Vendor ordering forecasts and trends 2) financial performance data 3) guest experience data, etc.) Providing strategic perspectives and frameworks and a disciplined problem-solving approach. Using a hypothesis-driven approach to structure analysis and efficient data collection. Gathering, analyzing and triangulating data from multiple internal and external data sources and using the data efficiently and effectively to derive meaningful and useful insights as well as actionable results for supply chain partners. Pursuing a rigorous fact-based approach, with a resourceful and creative use of available data to develop the appropriate level of insights needed to support decision making. Evaluating and recommending efficiencies and effectiveness of defined strategies & time-lines. Translating complex ideas into clear, compelling messages, using visualization and numbers effectively to influence and communicate effectively to all levels and departments within the organization. Creating effective presentations that include influential data points utilizing easy to interpret visuals. Eliciting cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, and other departments within the organization. Presenting insights to the Supply Chain team in large group settings, including leaders. Leading the automation of processes and analyzing data within Excel/Access or other analytical tools such as Tableau. Transferring data into new formats to make it more appropriate for analysis. Creating new, experimental frameworks to collect data. Lead a team of analysts as well as support and train end users to be self-proficient in data analysis.

REQUIREMENTS:    Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, or related.
    
Seven (7) years in any occupation in which data analysis was gained, or related experience must include: Performing exploratory data analysis; Constructing and executing analytics and data collection independently; Translating business issues into key hypotheses and derive findings using a structured problem-solving approach; Preparing, analyzing, visualizing and communicating data; Recommending viable solutions to issues, processes, and data change requests; Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, R or Scala; Statistics experience; Developing reports in Tableau; and Utilizing Google Cloud Platform and Big Query.
