Farnsworth Group is seeking a CAD Technician, to report to our Bloomington, IL office, with the flexibility to be based in our Champaign, Effingham, Peoria, or Pontiac, IL offices. In this role, you will provide production support for multiple disciplines, including Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Water/Wastewater Engineering.
Job Activities:
Qualified candidates will enjoy working with experienced engineers on a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, municipal, water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure.
Candidate will receive exposure to a wide variety of project types across Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Water/Wastewater Engineering
Career growth opportunities exist for learning and advancement
Process Engineering - Plan development for process piping and equipment for water/wastewater treatment facilities.
Civil Engineering - Projects including, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water distribution, site design and grading, and others.
Land Surveying - Processing of survey data, creation of existing conditions drawings including 3-D DTM and standard drawings, Plats of Survey, creation of survey stakeouts, and other survey related tasks.
Utilizing established company standards, candidates will work with AutoCAD, Revit, ArcViewGIS, and Civil3D
Specific Requirements Include:
Associates Degree in, or experience with, AutoCAD drafting
Coursework with Civil Drafting emphasis required
0-5 years of experience; new graduates are welcome to apply
