Craftsmen Industries custom manufactures unique specialty trailers and vehicles and large format printed elements for experiential marketing and industrial solutions for brands across the industry spectrum including Boeing, PepsiCo, and Anheuser-Busch. We pride ourselves on creating our products fully in-house from initial design and engineering to fabrication and the finishing touches of graphics and paint.
Our Craftsmen team includes one subsidiary, Schantz Manufacturing. Schantz focuses on custom manufacturing of concession trailers for the fair and festival industry.

Requirements
Position Title: Electrical Technician
Location: Highland, IL
Position Summary: We are looking to for an experienced Electrical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot electrical systems and electrical components for custom manufactured trailers. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in the electrical field with experience in 120/240 single phase, 208 3 phase and 440 3 phases.
Job Responsibilities:
Installation and termination of service panels
Running and terminating circuits
Troubleshooting electrical applications
Manage workload and successfully meet daily hour requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience in the electrical field
Extensive knowledge of proper wire sizing
Mechanical aptitude
Use of air and electric hand tools
Reading of blueprints and electrical schematics
Experience in a manufacturing setting and commercial environment
Knowledge of generator power
Must be a problem solver
Preferred Skills:
Experience with NEC code book
Audio, visual, or AV wiring
Welding and Mig/Tig
Conduit installation experience
PLC installation experience
Physical Requirements:
Physical ability to stand up to 8+ hours per day
Physically able to climb in and out of trailers, scaffolding and ladders
Ability to lift & carry up to 75 lbs
Some travel may be required for on-site assistance/repair
