Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities related to clinical areas for an assigned service line or population.

+ Collaborate with managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.

+ Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.

+ Serve as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice and professional development.

+ Participate in the coordination and continuity of orientation programs.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ One or more of the following required:

+ Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

+ Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

+ Medical Lab Scientist (ASCP) credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

+ Medical Tech credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

+ Paramedic obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

+ Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

+ Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

+ Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

+ Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

+ Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

+ Respiratory Care Practitioner obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

+ Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

+ Regional support to metro locations including Resurrection Medical Center, Holy Family, St. Francis, St. Joseph-Chicago and Saint Mary and Elizabeth.
