+ Schedule: Part time 24 hrs per week; Wed; 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Fri & Sat, 11:00pm – 7:30 a.m.

Ascension Illinois – Center for Mental Health, Arlington Heights, has provided holistic and compassionate outpatient treatment to people with emotional problems or mental illness in Chicago’s northwest suburbs. With more than 100 specialists, our care teams work with over 3,000 clients every year. We help treat symptoms of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), self-injury, schizophrenia, school truancy and other mental health conditions. Our mental health specialists are committed to delivering compassionate support to children, teens and adults. This person willl assit with the daily life skills of the clients such as med witnessing, taking clients to appointments or grocery shopping during the day, some administrative tasks as needed, cleaning as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist in the provision of behavioral health services and safety support for patients.

+ Collect, record, and report data on client progress making specific instructional changes according to established guidelines and complete informal evaluations as required.

+ Provide patient assistance including deescalating volatile situations and alert team members to any areas of concern.

+ Assist with the search, inventory, storage, and return of patient property.

+ May serve as a member of the crisis response team and participate in situational debriefs as required.

+ May assist in the planning and implementation of individualized behavior support plans.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ Preferred Credential(s):• BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

+ Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience,if applicable.

Additional Preferences

Driver License- A Drivers license is required to drive our van to bring clients to appointments and errands.
