Baker Lab

Research Assistant will actively participate in performing experiments including western blotting for viral proteins and plaque assay to evaluate virus production. In addition, the Research Assistant will help with maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. All work will be done under the supervision of the PI, Dr. Susan Baker, or a senior member of the lab such as a Research Assistant Professor or Postdoctoral Fellow.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

Education Required: Bachelors Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education Preferred: Bachelors Degree Experience Required: None Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science degree in biology, molecular biology, microbiology or related field

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
