Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a Product Manager for Mobile and Application Security Engineering who will contribute toward the success of our mobile and application security journey. Individual must be an independent, innovative, self-starting team player and have ability to perform in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. The candidate drives confident thought leadership and product delivery within an agile software development lifecycle. The product manager shall introduce and maintain application and mobile security controls increase capability of identifying risk through product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

+ Leading a security engineering development team in designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining application and mobile security technologies

+ Define a strategy for business and enhancing application and mobile security capability to deliver innovation aligned with organization objectives

+ Lead optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs

+ Makes sound configuration and design decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront

+ Takes feedback regarding current state to address and generate design considerations/improvements and craft innovative outcomes and additional capabilities into iterative product improvement process

+ Engages stakeholders to build supporting artifact, gain perspective, and identify opportunities that lead to products that improve the vulnerability lifecycle

+ Incorporate vulnerability identification technologies with reliability engineering standards and practices to produce effective risk information feeding ServiceNow and the security data lake

+ Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices

+ Provide periodic results and roadmap forecast for product enhancements

+ Participate and contribute in group thought leadership, information exchanges, idea generation to provide positive business outcomes

+ Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement

+ Reviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery. Anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation

Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent work experience

+ Eight or more years of experience in information security

+ Two or more years of experience in IT infrastructure management, application architecture, risk management, data architecture, middleware technology, and IT operations and project management?

Experience Should Include:

+ 5+ years experience with traditional and mobile application development CI/CD pipelines

+ 5+ years experience with static and dynamic pipeline controls and process

+ 3+ years experience with software or technology as a service product management

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Evaluates current state and looks for opportunities to simplify product and technical design

+ Ability to communicate processes and results with all parties involved in the product team, including engineers, scrum master, third party vendors, and organizational leadership

+ Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers, customers and management

+ Professional verbal and written communication skills

+ GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst (GMOB)

+ Credentials Mobile Device Security Professional (CMDSP)

+ Certified Expert Mobile Security Professional (CEMP)

+ CompTIA PenTest\#ISS

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $112,880.00 – $132,800.00 – $146,080.00
