Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Conducts regional sales calls through visits, correspondence, telephone, and email
- Monitors/manages sales/market conditions within assigned sales territory
- Maintains relationship with regional Business Aviation organizations
- Develops/maintains a relationship with aviation OEMs, suppliers, brokers, and vendors to increase knowledge of aircraft maintenance and repairs
- Will be required to work closely with the Avionics Engine and Modification Sales Managers to develop proposals and project schedules
- Maintains interaction with the Quoting Department to accurately develop airframe proposals
- Expands sales within assigned territory with particular focus on Airframe business
- Manages territory and pipeline data in Salesforce.com
- Manages expenses within the budget
- Travels extensively to meet sales and quota goals, 50-75%
- Performs other duties as required by the Sales Director
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of five years aviation (MRO) sales.
- Position resides and works out of the Upper-Midwest/Great Lakes region.
- Ability to travel on short notice, up to 75%.
- Corporate Aviation experience required.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Assertive, possesses high energy, and is self-motivated.
- Proficient in computer applications: MSWord, Excel. Ideal candidate will also be proficient in SFDC.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong industry contacts in business aviation preferred.
- Airframe technical background preferred, with emphasis on the following: Dassault Falcon Jet, Embraer Legacy, Bombardier Global Express, and Challenger.
- A&P Certificate or other industry certification.
