Job Description

Senior Member of Technical Staff needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Warrenville, IL to support architecture, design, and technology introduction of AT&T IMS Applications. Support system integration, capacity growth, and connectivity design. Support migration to new generation of technologies, 5G, Cloud Native, and next generation IMS network. Oversee AT&T security requirements and be the security owner on the platform to ensure all security requirements are met and maintained. Lead certification testing, manage certification environment, define testing scope, manage reports, and resolve issues. Provide tier 4 support for application platforms, MOP execution, postproduction care, and troubleshooting of production issues. Work with vendors, internal partners, cross functional teams, packet core team, project management team, and technology planning team to define features and roadmaps to ensure timely delivery of software releases. Work on IETF RFCs and 3GPP specifications related to IMS, LTE, and 5G call flows. Perform analysis on service requirements. Provide work estimates and solutions as per requirements and coding standards. Work with IMS interfaces, SGi, Rx, Mw, Cx, Sh, Ro, Rf, SIP, SDP, H.248, codec G.711, EVRC family, AMR, SS7, ISUP, TCP, IP, HTTP, cloud platform, and REST API. Implement solutions using OpenStack, C, Java, PL, SQL, Shell Scripting, and Python. Develop strategies to implement user stories and build the TOLs (Test Objective List). Lead and configure lab environment required for validation of TOL (test objective list) for new and existing features and deploy them in production for IMS, LTE, 5G, and VoIP domain services. Verify  IMS, LTE, 5G,  3G call flows per RFC, and 3gpp specification. Complete Software packaging, version control, code debugging, and problem resolution. Troubleshoot and analyze traces using Wireshark, IRIS Session Analyzer, Radcom, Perfecto, Mobile Labs, and EXFO Brix. Use  Agile methodology and defect management tools. Work with various network element owners and business stake holders to resolve the critical production and field issues. Provide cost estimate and design by going through requirement and design documents of new feature/enhancement. Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams and bridge the gap with the certification and design team. Complete Microsoft Azure certification. Complete CCNA certification.

       
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering or Computer Software Engineering and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience in a related occupation performing analysis on service requirements; providing work estimates and solutions as per requirements and coding standards; working with IMS interfaces, SGi, Rx, Mw, Cx, Sh, Ro, Rf, SIP, SDP, H.248, codec G.711, EVRC family, AMR, SS7, ISUP, TCP, IP, HTTP, cloud platform, and REST API; implementing solutions using OpenStack, C, Java, PL, SQL, Shell Scripting, and Python; developing strategies to implement user stories and build the TOLs (Test Objective List); leading and configuring lab environment required for validation of TOL (test objective list) for new and existing features and deploying them in production for IMS, LTE, 5G, and VoIP domain services; verifying  IMS, LTE, 5G, 3G call flows per RFC, and 3gpp specification; completing Software packaging, version control, code debugging, and problem resolution; troubleshooting and analyzing traces using Wireshark, IRIS Session Analyzer, Radcom, Perfecto, Mobile Labs, and EXFO Brix; using  Agile methodology and defect management tools; working with various network element owners and business stake holders to resolve the critical production and field issues; providing cost estimate and design by going through requirement and design documents of new feature/enhancement; and collaborating with onsite and offshore teams and bridging gap with certification and design team.
